Provide FEED contractors with technical information. Collaborate with operations teams to gather input on their specific needs and challenges
Review engineering deliverables for mechanical and piping systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and standards.
Collaborate with FEED contractor to select the most suitable mechanical equipment, such as CO2 compressors, blowers etc., for the project.
Identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in the process design.
Ensure that all mechanical and piping designs adhere to safety and environmental regulations and standards. Identify potential hazards and mitigate risks..
Actively participate in 3D model reviews, safety reviews and other reviews.
Provide ongoing support to the project team throughout the FEED phase.
Work closely with other engineering disciplines to coordinate design efforts and ensure the integration of mechanical and piping systems with the overall project.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 10 -15 years of experience in the design and engineering of mechanical and piping systems, ideally in the relevant industry. EPC experience is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical and piping systems.
Rotating equipment’s : Compressors, Blowers, Pumps, Air coolers etc. • OSBL/ Utility Packages: Fluegas ducts, Steam, WWTP, Demin Water, Instrument/ Process air, N2 etc.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as 3D model, CAD, stress analysis software.
