As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Quality Manager / Occupational Health Leader Benelux, we are seeking a management system compliance specialist to take ownership of our Management System.
  • You will play a key role in maintaining needed certifications and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional and provide structural support to the quality manager, certified key experts and other Arbodienst staff.
  • Maintain and develop the (quality) management system of Arbodienst at client.
  • Continually improve and implement updates to the management system in response to changes in the Working Conditions Act, related legislation, Dow standards and client requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate the annual planning of QMS (quality management system) and ISMS (information security management system) tasks.
  • Coordinate and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and follow-up on management system activities.
  • Plan, prepare, conduct and follow up on all internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate client and customer satisfaction surveys and ensure follow-up actions.
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) for Arbodienst at client.
  • Ensure risk analysis information security for Arbodienst are completed and actioned.
  • Draft and present (management) reports as needed.
  • Provide training, guidance and advice on compliance and quality best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of management systems, compliance frameworks and PDCA methodology to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Management System Standards expertise (ISO High Level Structure (HLS) / Harmonized Structure (HS), ISO 9001, NEN).
  • Knowledge about Arbodienst legislation in The Netherlands, GDPR, privacy legislation, Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) and practices is preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and precision
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Hands-on and high level of ownership.
  • Analytical and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to translate formal standards and guidelines into practical use.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Digital literacy, including Copilot.
  • Part-time job (2 days a week / 16h a week)
  • Working location Terneuzen Site
  • This role is essential for ensuring compliance with Dutch ‘Arbodienst’ certification regulations and maintaining the continuity of our certified internal Arbodienst in Terneuzen.
