Maintenance engineer Static

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• As a Maintenance Engineer Static you are responsible for solving technical issues, and preparing and safeguarding the quality of technical maintenance, projects and overhauls of any static equipment in the assigned maintenance department of Sluiskil.
• Review or assemble work packs for effective execution and to the required quality to maintain / restore integrity and reliability / availability;
• Coordinate activities associated with third party contractors and services and procures parts necessary for repairs, projects or overhauls;
• Work in close cooperation with the inspection team to determine the best suitable repair procedures;
• Lead teams during preparation and construction;
• Build relations with technical personnel, third parties, other sites and the technical network within Yara International;
• Participate in the mechanical call-out organization.
• You’ll make sure that all activities are being executed in conformance with Values & Management system.

Requirements

• You bring solid experience in maintenance, turnarounds, and projects within chemical plants, with a strong focus on piping, static equipment, and bulk handling.
• You have the ability to tackle complex problems with sharp analytical skills and a hands-on approach. Safety and reliability are second nature to you, and you combine this mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, an open attitude, and high motivation. As a true team player, you work effectively with others to achieve common goals.
• Bachelor or Master degree in (electro) Mechanical Engineering;
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• An external assessment will be part of the application procedure.
