Electrical Draftsman

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings for electrical containment and supporting systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare accurate shop drawings for earthing systems and stub-up installations.
• Generate material take-offs (BOMs) based on designs and ensure all components are accounted for.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure drawings align with project specifications and standards.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project adjustments.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry and company standards for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions for project documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the electrical field.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and related drawing tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical containment, earthing systems, and stub-up installations.
• Ability to generate precise material take-offs and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
