E&A Engineer

Responsibilities

• Project engineer, managing the E&A scope from A to Z in line with the approved project planning and budget. Supporting the E&A masterplan lead.
• You perform the basic engineering forTthe low voltage power distribution,
• E&A for all building utilities: lighting, power supplies and fire protection systems,
• Instrumentation and automation scope of engineering process projects: P&ID, setting up motor and component lists, instrumentation lists.
• Safety matrix
• OT network design and setup
• Instruct design and 3D design team for the electrical installation: cable routings, etc.
• Establishment of tender documents for Electrical panel construction, electrical installation works and automation. Support on technical questions for the procurement department
• Follow up and verification of the electrical design from contractors to be in line with the client's requirements and standards.
• Technical alignment and follow-up of subcontractors.
• You lead the E&A contractors during installation and commissioning works, including cabling, I/O-testing, functional testing and start-up.
• You are responsible for the verification and validation of all safety functions of the process
• You organize and coordinate the E&A work of stakeholders, consulting the general project manager.

Requirements

• You have a master degree in engineering, preferably in the field of Electrical or Electro mechanics.
• You have knowledge of the international standards in this discipline, starting from the machine directive.   
• You preferably have a first experience in project engineering in the field of electricity and automation.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French.
• You are flexible during critical project phases.
