Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in an designer or engineering role within an industrial environment
Experience in the design of machine control systems, starting from P&ID diagrams and instrument indexes prepared by the E&I Engineer; selection of electrical components with appropriate technical specifications; and delivery of detailed designs for the required control cabinets
Proven experience in the design of low-voltage (LV) distribution systems
Experience in preparing bills of materials (BOMs), cable and terminal lists, and other project documentation, while supporting the EPLAN team in standardizing and continuously improving EPLAN macros and libraries.
Extensive knowledge of electrical safety regulations (AREI) to identify non-compliances in older installations, ensure necessary modifications are implemented, and have the installation certified by a Notified Body (Nobo)
Knowledge of cable calculations and ATEX is considered an asset
Living within a 40km radius of the factory, meaning travel time less then 45 minutes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related discipline
Languages: Dutch C1, English C2, French B1
Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry are strongly preferred; experience in the chocolate industry is an added advantage
Candidate can communicate fluently with the stake holders of the project
The candidate is capable of independently managing their EPLAN projects in accordance with defined delivery deadlines
The candidate is a team player who contributes to a close-knit and motivated engineering team
The candidate will report to the E&I lead of local engineering Manager
