Zone Engineer

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Provides technical guidance for planners and supervisors;
• Supports OMC in the selection of activities for D2D schedule and scope definition of unit shutdowns;
• Participates in Area Plant Team with a focus on short-term technical issues;
• Gatekeeping based on costs vs priority (Compliance);
• Is a member of the Area Plant Team with a focus on short-term technical issues, leading area maintenance execution;
• Is Involved in the work order notification and prioritization process, including:
  • Provides input as required to ensure work notifications and work orders meet the technical requirements of safety, reliability, and production;
  • Reviews and approves quotes on rebuilds vs. new costs;
  • Gatekeeping based on costs vs priority (Compliance).
• Is accountable for the front-line equipment troubleshooting of incidents relating to equipment & process upsets:
  • Carry out 5why analyses or support technicians in making 5Why analyses (L1 level);
  • Lead /support crash teams;
  • Involve maintenance engineers for technical expert support.
• Startup (temporary) MOCs (and maintain TMOCs overview);
• Acts as design authority: reviewing/approving (temporary) technical solutions for repairs (not Capex projects);
• Supports OMC in work order selection for maintenance schedule:
  • D2D activities in coming weeks;
  • Scope development for unit shutdowns;
  • Compliance scope.
• Identifies and implements (technical) maintenance improvements in his/her zone;
• Coordinates execution with a focus on EHS, progress and cost during shutdown-related maintenance activities.

Vereisten

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
• Technical knowledge of Rotating/Mechanical or E&I;
• Basic knowledge of other disciplines (next to own specialism);
• Knowledge of working with SAP;
• Problem-solving;
• Maintenance (business) processes;
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written
• Proven technical knowledge;
• Demonstrated leadership skills;
• Maintenance planning/scheduling/supervision.
