Responsibilities

  • Management of projects (investment and major repairs) within a defined time and budget framework in the best possible quality and in compliance with company guidelines
  • Planning, implementation and monitoring of projects (investment and major repairs) in accordance with the procedural regulations at the site.
  • Tracking and taking into account the state of the art, compliance with applicable laws, official requirements and regulations, as well as internal instructions and timely clarification of funding issues in projects.
  • Coordinating projects with the responsible specialist engineers with regard to TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and taking into account maintenance content such as standardisation, documentation, spare parts, maintenance or safety
  • Collaboration in the preparation of medium-term planning for major repairs and replacement investments, as well as in the annual planning of investment projects
  • Supporting the production and central departments or specialist engineers in the preparation of planning requirements
  • Preparation of the resource and schedule plan for investment projects in cooperation and coordination with all specialist departments and GK/TB/ET management
  • Collaboration and technical handling of sub-projects, taking into account the state of the art, compliance with applicable laws, official requirements and regulations, as well as internal instructions as sub-project manager or project team member.
  • Carrying out occupational safety audits to recognise and deal with errors in the area of QHSSE. Initiation of improvement and preventive measures
  • Processing of warranty & guarantee cases in cooperation with the purchasing department
  • Continuous improvement in the working environment (SPE&i / CI)
  • Maintenance, further development and compliance with the "Sappi Standard Gratkorn"
  • Consideration of and focus on future topics (digitalisation, I4.0)

Requirements

  • Degree from a technical university or university of applied sciences with a mechanical / civil engineering specialisation and good basic training in business administration or graduate of a technical school with a mechanical / civil engineering specialisation, good basic training in business administration and several years of practical experience in the industry (pipe network planning)
  • Comprehensive project planning and implementation experience as well as knowledge of project management.
  • High motivation, ability to work under pressure, flexibility and willingness to work independently and autonomously
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, decisiveness, analytical working style, organisational talent
  • Constant willingness for further training
  • Basic knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD), SAP and MS Office
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is a must have
