Project Engineer E/I

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Supervise safety, quality, planning and budget of E&I projects.
• Act as project leader on key E&I projects.
• Prepare E&I specifications such as control cabinets, power distribution panels and process instrumentation.
• Conduct technical bid evaluation and supplier clarification meetings.
• Maintain and update relevant E&I documentation (e.g. drawings, ATEX reports for hazardous areas, SAP data).
• Define and approve E&I information on P&ID status documentation.
• Provide expertise to scope reviews, HAZOP, alarm reviews, safety audits and investigation teams as required.
• Identify opportunities for improved plant performance through application of E&I technology.
• Experience with high voltage power distribution is an advantage.

Vereisten

• Bachelor or academic degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Approximately 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the chemical/process industry or Engineering company related experience.
• Preferably certified Functional Safety Engineer based on international standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
• Excellent team player with great adaptability, optimism and a proactive attitude.
• Good personal communication and social skills, customer-oriented and motivated.
• Well-developed analytical skills, easy decision maker and tenacious in achieving results.
• Good planner and organizer with high stress tolerance.
• Excellent and skilled communicator in Dutch and English.
• Experience with design, setup, field verification, installation and troubleshooting in a, preferably, industrial environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinary projects
• Familiar with ATEX, E-CAD packages and relevant NEN standards.
