What will you do
The Maintenance Technicains’s prime function is to prepare and execute planned mechanical maintenance activities on all TAQA operated onshore assets (GSB, PGI and BDF). Equipment to be maintained are; gas turbines, valves, pumps, fans, electrical and gas turbine driven compressors, chillers, etc. Activities will be executed alone, with colleges and/or specialized Vendors. The Mechanical technician reports findings, malfunctions and corrective actions in the Maintenance Management system MAXIMO.
Responsibilities
Maintain the TAQA assets, with the objectives to deliver quality and availability of installations in accordance with the scope of work, rules, regulations and TAQA’s job instructions and procedures
Coordinates his work with the Operators & Maintenance teams as appropriate
Ensures that all work is done in accordance with approved working procedures
Execute maintenance and modification activities as per planning
Supervise and assist service- and sub-contractors
Conducts other various tasks not specified, as required by Maintenance coordinator or MTL
Provides feedback to the Maintenance Engineering team for improvements of PM tasks
Responsible for correct use of supplied tools and equipment and the personal toolbox
Maintaining good housekeeping at the site
Reports all accidents / incidents / near misses and potential hazards immediately
Marks up drawings after modifications and checks revised drawings
Creates work requests for follow up on inspection when required
Daily reporting of executed activities in Maximo

What we search for in you
We’re happy to hear from professionals with an MTS (Level 4) degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 5-10 years experience in Oil & Gas and/or petrochemical industry. In this role you'll require both Dutch and English language skills.

Detailed knowledge and experience with gas turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, etc.
Mechanical ATEX

Knowledge and experience with Hoisting & Lifting activities
Knowledge and experience with a CMMS (preferably Maximo
Knowledge and experience with office applications such as Word and Excel.
