Cost Engineer

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Prepare multi-disciplinary cost estimates for big scale (>billion euro) offshore projects;
• Coordinate and discuss estimating input with project team members and technical experts available in the organisation to ensure the quality of the estimation;
• Perform cost reconciliations to previous estimates as project develops;
• Provide support for impact/optimizations calculations during projects;
• Set up and maintain price lists in cooperation with contract manager, strategic buyer and technical experts for our tenders;
• Perform complete analysis and validation of quotations from tenderers;
• Assess cost calculations of claims and variation orders we receive from contractors and suppliers;
• Support and cooperate with fellow cost engineer in the Project department;
• Cooperate with Asset Management to build, maintain and improve the tools we use (e.g. frameworks, models, systems, databases) to professionalize and standardize;
• Contribute further promotion and professionalization of cost engineering.

Vereisten

• Minimum Bachelor degree, e.g. in Construction, Engineering, Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering;
• You have at least 6 years of working experience in activities similar to those mentioned in the tasks and responsibilities, preferably in an organization comparable to TenneT;
• Experience with PIN software is a plus;
• Experience in offshore industry;
• Preferably CCT and/or CCE certificate;

• Fluent in Dutch, business-fluent in spoken and written English.
