Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment)

Responsibilities

• Prepare Material requisition, technical evaluation of vendor offers & Order specification and review of vendor drawings and being involved in inspections and/or site installation.
• Check the deliverables produced by the team.
• Supervise Mechanical Static team and join client meetings.
• You'll have:
• Preferred Experience (software, language, specific knowledge, or expertise)
• Must have thorough knowledge of static equipment ranging from vessels, heat exchangers, reactors and columns. Furnace /fired equipment is a pre. 
• Has good knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing. Mastering Dutch is an advantage.
• Real team player (within Mechanical team and cooperation with other departments).
• Experience in work cooperation with remote offices (work sharing concept).
• Demonstrate a pro-active and pragmatic mentality.
• Takes ownership of the scope, budget, and schedule. 
• Candidate can work independently and reports to project engineer/manager or overall Lead Engineer.
• Flexible for business travelling.

Requirements

• Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience Oil & Gas industry in Mechanical Static engineering for 10+ years. This in preparation of Material requisition, technical evaluation of vendor offers & Order specification and review of vendor drawings and being involved in inspections and/or site installation.
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Design project phases.
• Strong command of the English language both written and oral.
