Quality Project Manager

Responsibilities

- Review of regulations and specifications provided by the customer with regard to quality-relevant content - Preparation resp. review of quality-related manufacturing and assembly instructions, work instructions including production and test sequence plans under consideration of applicable customer instructions/specifications - Review of the material test specifications, for filler metals in close colabouration with the responsible welding engineer - Supervision of the receipt and controlled distribution of all project documents, including their revision - Participation in project audits - Responsibility (together with the project manager) for ensuring that there is close cooperation between the members of the project team and for ensuring that the level of information is kept up-to-date

Requirements

Experience: At least five years of proven experience as QPM in piping technologies (austenitic and ferritic materials) preferably in nuclear technology - Knowledge of nuclear standards preferably RCC-M Code - Proven experience in the preparation of pre-inspection documents such as inspection plans, quality related procedures and sequence plans - Knowledge of the common processes in prefabrication and erection of pipings - Experience in dealing with inspection organizations (e.g. TÜV, APAVE, etc.) Skills & Competencies: - Completed university study of materials science, physics, mechanical engineering or similar. In the case of extensive, proven professional experience, technicians, master craftsmen or similar may also be considered - Certification as welding engineer/technician/specialist (EWF/IIW) is of advantage - Certifications (DIN EN ISO 9712) for non-destructive testing, such as VT, RT, PT, MT and visual inspection are of advantage - Very good written and spoken English and German skills are mandatory - Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Word - Car driving licence - Strong willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team, communication skills, assertiveness as well as a committed, reliable and independent way of working
