Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure that EHS considerations are fully covered in all aspects of the Project(s)
• Responsible for Process Safety Compliance, in accordance with all applicable standards. ? Ensure adequate stakeholder involvement in the project at all phases.
• Ensure project standards in Project Definition and Execution are applied and realized.
• Manage Teams, multi-discipline internal & external and interfaces, to deliver positive results.
• Raise ideas for and participate in continuous improvement program
• Performing or support feasibility studies
• Manage engineering contractors during the engineering phases of the projects (basic and detailed engineering)
• Ensure and coordinate adequate engineering support during construction / commissioning.
• Ensure project predictability in Safety, Budget, cash-out, schedule and quality.
• Ensure projects controls are applied – including Cost, Schedule, Change & Risk Management

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of project engineering experience with experience in brownfield projects withing the (Petro)Chemical Industry – from an asset owner perspective
• Engineering / Technical education to degree level
