Project Cost Control

Responsibilities

• Follow up the total investment cost, base line and control budgets, secures the correct use of contingency
• Assure monthly correct cost reporting and forecasting, provide input to the monthly reports, cost meeting and others
• Review and comment the key quantities and contractual quantity updates issued by EPCm contractor, assess the impact on the project cost forecast
• Regular updating of capex spent prognose
• Perform contract quality controls to guarantee correct payments to the contractors
• Review the reason, content and impact of proposed changes; estimate/analyse the impact of changes, both agreed and not agreed
• Assure correct cost accounting of extra works and back charges to suppliers and contractors

Requirements

• Engineering background preferred
• Minimum experience of 5 years or equivalent by relevant project practical experience
• General knowledge of Project Management and Project Engineering in all its aspects
• Previous experience of working in projects or construction sites is a plus
• Proactive, accurate, and have a thorough command of communication
• Excellent administrative skills, solid experienced user of MS Office, Excel, SAP and Power BI
• Versatile, stress resistant, “self-starter”
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
