Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• • The Senior Engineer's purpose is to design and engineer solutions that achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby contributing to the projects and organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.
  • You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
  • You are responsible for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
  • You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and internal requirements.
  • You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
  • You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and internal requirements.
  • You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.
  • You start leading engineers on assigned scope of work
  • You may act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work.

Requirements

• • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
    • 5–10 years of relevant experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Proven experience working on Brownfield projects.
    • Strong knowledge of engineering design methodologies and calculation tools.
    • Experience with concept development and feasibility studies.
    • Solid expertise in Mechanical Rotating Equipment.
    • Experience in detailed engineering and design activities.
    • Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices.
    • Familiarity with inspection, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring activities.
    • Experience with package engineering, vendor management, and manufacturing processes.
    • Strong focus on reliability, operability, maintainability, and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience within the maritime, offshore, and topsides environment is considered a strong advantage.
    • Familiarity with offshore production facilities, platforms, FPSOs, and related equipment is highly desirable.
