Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Engineer state-of-the-art systems from concept through to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges using cutting-edge technology and methodologies.
• Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including project managers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Innovation and Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of new technologies, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the lifting industry.

Requirements

• You speak the Dutch language (or you are learning this already for a year), you are also based in the Netherlands.
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a related field (cranes, maritime, offshore cranes or large/heavy machinery)
• You are an experienced designer using Inventor software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) 
• As a person, we are looking for a teamplayer, proactivity and a lot of creativity, you know how to work your design from scratch, so from concept, feed, detailed engineering till the end, whereas you'll be mostly involved in the beginning phase as a designer.
• You are able to maintain the safety standards, do reviews en think together with the other engineers.
