Within projects you are responsible for the time budget, progress and quality of your discipline;
In consultation with the customer and your colleagues, you ensure a good and safe mechanical and piping design;
Under your leadership and based on your knowledge and experience, equipment layouts, accessories lists, drawings, equipment datasheets, and requisitions are developed;
You align with the 3D modelers for a good 3D piping design;
Provide technical contribution to a team of process and mechanical related disciplines engineers to deliver front-end consultancy, feasibility, concept and basic engineering projects;
You are able to bring alternative solutions and you can work these out into multiple scenarios and quantify them according to cost levels;
You have contact with contractors and suppliers, assessing offers and supervising construction projects is part of the job;
In larger projects, we collaborate with engineering partners and also teams from other branches of RHDHV organization.
Technical coordination and “Guidance & Control” are part of your work.
Requirements
Relevant bachelor/master degree in Mechanical engineering or similar;
Minimum of 10 years experience in a technical role in multidisciplinary teams within an engineering company;
Experience in food, pharmaceutical or (fine) chemicals sector; EHEDG and GMP design are known to you;
Experience in specifying and design of facilities according to US and European norms and design codes such as ASME/ANSI and DIN/EN;
Knowledge of PED, WBDA, KVI and RToD;
Knowledge of and experience with Autodesk Plant3D is an advantage;
Feels at home in an international working environment;

Good communication skills and command of the Dutch and English language;
