Responsibilities

  • Responsible for budget, schedule and quality regarding engineering tasks.
  • Responsible for team performance.
  • Responsibilities
  • Daily management of the Discipline Engineers.
  • Define functional and technical requirements.
  • Multidisciplinary responsible for the realization of the engineering
  • HSE plan Design phase: set up and keep up to date, including SIL classification, ATEX, HAZOP and HS studies (0~3).
  • Maintaining technical interfacing documents (P&IDs, PFDs, H&MB, EIC single lines and block diagrams).
  • Obtain, review and approve shop (production) and site (assembly) ITPs.
  • Organising quality checks of engineering (on interface documents and 3D reviews).
  • Secure communication and coordination between TSIJ and contractors in the field of engineering.
  • Coordination and communication with TSIJ stakeholders
  • Information: The (Team) LE reports to the Project Manager and/or the Project Lead Engineer.

 

Requirements

 

  • You have a completed education at least at college level, preferably in the direction of Mechanical Engineering and/or comparable technical direction.
  • You have several years of proven working experience in the field of construction and engineering work and you know how to apply this in projects.
  • You are used to working in a project-based environment, in which you have taken on the coordination of various multidisciplinary teams.
  • You are self starter and skilled in planning and organising.
  • You have social and communicative skills, are customer and result oriented, analytical and take initiative
  • You like to look beyond the borders of your own specialisation
  • Completed technical Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • Multidisciplinary view of technology;
  • Proven experience in interface management;
  • Demonstrable experience in project-based construction and engineering in the steel industry is recommended;
  • Preferably knowledge of applicable Dutch legislation, European directives, EN (harmonised) and ISO standards;
  • Technical partner to challenge the contractor in the field of engineering, fabrication, assembly and commissioning;
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Navisworks, SAP system;
  • Language skills: English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Candidate should have experience in large equipment, WTB, silos etc;
