Instrument Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• The hardware engineer is responsible for designing control drawings for all common electrical installations such as machine controls, but also low voltage and process installations within Industry and Infrastructure.
• The hardware engineer is responsible for designing and assembling the hardware for control panels. Also
• making calculations of load currents, overcurrent protection and short circuit calculations. Editing drawings.
• During a project, there is close collaboration with software engineers.

Requirements

• analyzing and designing electrical installations and systems within industrial automation
• designing and drawing electrical installations and panels
• supporting project groups within industrial automation
• making basic and detailed designs
• processing changes and revision drawings
• preparing and supervising projects for panel construction and industrial projects in oil & gas and chemistry
