  • The Field Engineering Coordinator reports to Construction Services Manager and is responsible managing and controlling several field engineers and activities with provides technical guidance to support construction operations in accordance with the desired project construction execution strategy.
  • An engineering coordinator's responsibilities include organizing document and drawing systems, leading cross-functional teams, and participating in technical meetings. Assist with design and construction management and execute work according to contracts and documents.
  • Maintain overview of TQs, engineering change orders. Work closely with the field engineering team to support quality assurance, quality control, and site construction teams.
  • Work with vendors and contractors, and have strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Managing the work of engineers and other technical professionals.
  • Acting as liaisons between these individuals and higher-level managers.
  • Ensuring that everyone is working toward the same goals and objectives

  • Has participated in Constructability, Operability and Maintainability Workshops.
  • Sets clear objectives for the Field engineering team including scope, schedule, productivity and budget targets.
  • Oversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the Field engineering team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps.
  • Implements communication tools and process to ensure all team members are informed about project status and key performance indicators.
  • Technical, practical and leadership experience in one of the disciplines, with preferred experience in a Field Engineer and/or Project Management positions in construction project management. A thorough understanding of industrial construction environment and demonstrable leadership experience.
  • Recognized Oil & Gas discipline background
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience with significant project management experience
  • A recognized degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification/experience
  • IT Literate (Excel / Word / Powerpoint etc) with experience in Management Databases
  • Experience with Project and Construction Management Systems preferably with knowledge of Field Engineering practices and procedures
  • VCA-VOL Certification or equivalent
  • Please note: Saturday -shift work as and when required
