E&I Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing electrical designs and documents
• AutoCAD drawing and engineering
• Project execution:
• Translating specifications into a design
• Placing and overseeing orders
• Communication with customers and suppliers regarding project-specific matters
• Managing drawing packages
• Managing project documentation
• Supervising production
• Performing post-calculation and financial control in collaboration with the finance and administration department
• Creating and filing project files upon project completion
• Establishing and maintaining project schedules
• Planning and facilitating project meetings
• Time registration for post-calculation purposes
• Creating cost price calculations
• Assisting in making offers
• Keeping up with new product-oriented developments
• Documenting and filing supplier documentation
• Registering and maintaining supplier prices
• Standardizing engineering tasks and ASaP products

Requirements

• Technical vocational education (MBO) / Higher vocational education (HBO)
• Experience with AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of relevant regulations in the field, such as ATEX and low voltage directives, as well as relevant norms/standards
• High level of accuracy and structured work approach
• Sense of service and customer orientation
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of RidderIQ is a plus.
