Responsibilities

  • We are looking for an Early Talent Programmes Manager, to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. You will report to the Regional Head of Talent Sourcing & TA Strategy and will be responsible for driving the transformation agenda for the Early Talent area as well as efficient execution of existing Early Talent Programmes in the region
  • As the Early Talent Programmes Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Strategy: Review, design and implement changes to the existing early talent programmes and initiatives and link them to the region/subregions’ Strategic Workforce Planning outcomes as well as to the long term business goals. Understanding the future needs of the organization to plan and adapt Early Talent initiatives accordingly. Work with L&CD in defining and implementing development programs for future leaders in a long term scope.
  • Process: Utilise the structured approach to recruit, select, place and develop diverse Early Talent populations. Track, analyse and report metrics. Identify and implement continuous measures as needed. Serve as the HR Generalist for all Early Talent programs, providing guidance on career counselling, performance management, feedback, on-boarding and assimilation assistance, etc. Coach supervisors and managers on providing meaningful feedback regarding performance and manage performance-related activities. Ensure meaningful assignments for Entry Careers and Experiential (student) Programs.
  • Attraction and Recruiting: Partner with HRBP’s and Talent Acquisition to nominate strong functional associates to assist with early talent recruiting initiatives. Assist with the development and implementation of diversity-related sourcing, recruiting and retention strategies, channel development and branding. Keep abreast of emerging staffing trends in the university relations and recruitment space and incorporate best practices as appropriate. Maintain relationships with on Campus Career Center Staff and coordinate “university relations” recruiting activities, including Career Fairs, company sessions, student club/organizations, research, classroom engagement and unique opportunities to reach student candidate pools. Partner with Corporate Communications and Talent Acquisition to develop and implement marketing, social media and recruiting campaign content to be weaved throughout the recruiting plans at targeted educational institutions and early talent recruiting channels.
  • Selection Process: Design and manage the structured interviews and assessment centres; guide teams in candidate selection using robust assessment tools. Work closely with HRBP’s and Learning, Development & Capabilities teams to identify appropriate competencies associated with early talent / individual contributor levels. Co-create / co-facilitate hiring manager training activities – interviewing, assessing culture fit, selecting top candidates.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner and proactively communicate with all relevant Stakeholders (Leaders, HRBP’s, HR COEs, Programme Governance, Students Council) to ensure continued alignment of Early Talent Programmes to strategic business needs, efficient execution of the programmes as well as sufficient knowledge and visibility of the Early Talent activity for all relevant parties. Understand the business conditions associated with the various potential positions to confirm sufficient roles are available to support incoming and current program participants. Challenge stakeholders and propose alternatives actions to ensure program efficiency. Be persuasive and present recommendations based on demonstrable experience and quantifiable metrics.
  • Ongoing Programmes Management/Execution: Be accountable and responsible (in collaboration with relevant colleagues/functions such as Talent Acquisition, Internal Mobility, HR Operations) for successful operational execution of the Early Talent programmes in the region. This will include, but not be limited to, managing new intake requests, approvals, coordinating rotations, providing pastoral care for programme participants, organising events, etc.
  • System and Compliance: Ensure utilisation of talent acquisition systems, i.e., Applicant Tracking System, Events Management, Candidate Relationship Management (future), are utilised and university activities and applications are appropriately recorded to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Ensure all policies and processes related to Early Talent are in compliance with relevant regional legislation and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree level education in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Early Talent programmes in an international setting
  • Experience in designing, reviewing and transforming early talent schemes; obtaining stakeholder buy-in throughout the process
  • Commercial acumen; understanding of different funding models for Early Talent Programmes and how these are best applied within different context
  • Previous exposure to working in a matrix, international organisation
  • Understanding of relevant local employment legislation in multiple European countries would be beneficial
  • Excellent team, influencing, partnering, managing and organisational skills as well as strong project and programme management skills
  • Excellent communication in English and the confidence and ability to consult and interact with senior leaders
  • Ownership taking and positive attitude and energy is welcomed as part of the team
  • We are looking for someone who is a good team member who is highly organised and has previous early talent recruiter experience. Aware of different cultures/needs and can adapt easily to dealing with complex HR rules and multiple candidates at one time.
