Continuous Improvement Lead

Responsibilities

• As Continuous Improvement Lead you will be responsible for the implementation of the IMEx continuous improvement element and the development and support of the right first time and human performance program. 
• You lead the continuous improvement meetings and update the boards and coordinate project prioritization.
• You provide support and maintain oversight of the various continuous improvement projects within the department.
• You track impact of the continuous improvement projects to the continuous improvement goals.
• You hold project owners accountable for updates and milestone completion.
• You report continuous improvement effectivenes metrics.
• You assure adherence to the continuous improvement element operating standards.
• You coach colleagues within the department in the correct application of human performance projects.
• You lead and coach the team on problem solving and root cause analysis tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Science or equivalent through experience.
• Trained in right first time, green belt methodology, ...
• Experience in managing and implementing Lean projects.
• Experience in project work.
• Experience with coaching colleagues in a project environment.
• Experience in process standardization and Operational Excellence.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical / GMP environment is a plus.
• Practical experience with lean management and continuous improvement.
• Experience in promoting a Right First Time culture in a production environment.
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical skills, pragmatic, autonomous.
• Strong communicator with strong social skills (committed, motivating, listening, open mind,..) both with workers, employees and executives.
• Strong coaching and interpersonal skills.
