In the role of Combined Cycle Process Engineer, you will be assigned to one of our challenging FPSO projects. You will work on the design of new combined cycle power generation and related utility systems for FPSO projects.
You will develop yourself further as an expert in the design of combined cycle systems for FPSO projects. As you are curious and like to learn, you like to stay abreast with the current and latest developments and relevant industry engineering standards.
Provide technical expertise in the evaluation and enhancement of combined-cycle thermal performance and balance of plant design
Evaluate thermal performance of steam cycles [power output, heat rate, stage pressures, temperatures and component efficiencies] utilizing thermodynamic principles.
Lead technical evaluations of various process configurations on steam cycle components (OTSG, Steam Turbine driver, Steam Condenser, Feedwater and other systems).
Interface with other engineering disciplines within or external to the company, communicating at a technical level that can be understood clearly.
Preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of vendor offers, and selection of vendors for main equipment such as gas turbine, OTSG, and steam turbine generator (STG).
Preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of vendor offers, and selection of vendors for condensate extraction pumps, deaerator, and Boiler Feedwater pumps
Preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of vendor offers, and selection of vendors for equipment such as water treatment plants (pre-treatment, desalination, demineralization), air compressors, cooling system, etc.
Review technical bid evaluation of all key equipment, instruments, and support to conclude technically preferred supplier
Reviewing and approval of vendor documents
Lead and participate in design review meetings with vendor and client
