Business Developer Floating Wind

Responsibilities

• For our floating wind developments, we are looking for a Business Developer with solid organizing and planning skills;
• Supporting the Business Development Manager Floating Wind, you will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and exploring the floating Wind Market;
• With an entrepreneurial mindset you are able to promote our newly developed solutions in the marketplace;
• Monitor, analyze and follow up on new market and commercial developments;
• Identify relevant key market players, technology providers, potential partners, and governmental and non-governmental organizations;
• Provide input to and implement PR communication strategies and assists in developing marketing tools;
• Build business relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, partners and potential Clients;
• Prepare applications for national and international public funding programs;
• Provide input to the business plan;
• Prepare applications for national and international public funding programs;
• Prepare responses to requests for information from project developers;
• Source funding for product developments: subsidies, partners, clients, investors, funds;
• Prepare applications for national and international public funding programs;
• Identify potential clients, and for receiving technical and commercial feedback and support from these clients.

Requirements

• You are motivated, enthusiastic, have a healthy amount of common sense and are eager to learn and develop your skills within, but also outside, your comfort zone;
• You have a creative mind and have good analytical skills;
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• Affinity with the floating offshore renewable energy markets;
• Preferably a Master’s degree in Engineering, offshore related;
• About 2 years of experience in technical and commercial management in the renewables industry.
