• Reports to automation lead engineer.
• The design engineers are sitting remotely (India and Finland). Online meetings are the medium of communication (google meet).
• Hybrid work. Site visit expected min twice a week.

Requirements

• Experience in automation design and process control.
• Prepare/update the automation specifications with discussion with lead engineer and operations.
• Reviewing the deliverables (P&ID, process description, Instrument index etc.) from other disciplines and providing the comments.
• Prepare the basic engineering deliverables for automation.
• Participate in HAZOP and LOPA.
• Support design engineers to prepare the detailed engineering package.
• Reviewing and providing comments on the detailed engineering package.
• Attending discipline meetings and escalating project issues in basic engineering and detailed engineering phase.
• Review the ASB documents at the end of the project and support design engineers for project closure.
• Providing reply for the technical queries from the automation contractor.
