Process Engineer – Iron Ore Agglomeration Technology (m/f/d)

Zuständigkeiten

• Development of process designs for agglomeration plants, including mass and energy balances as well as flow diagrams
• Execution of studies to optimize existing plants
• Process responsibility in customer projects
• Design and specification of automation solutions (P&IDs, functional descriptions)
• Supporting the sales team in the technical development of proposals for modernization and new plant projects
• Commissioning of plants worldwide, with a focus on cold and hot commissioning
• Research and development activities to enhance agglomeration processes
• Conducting and analyzing laboratory tests, including preparation of customer reports
• Ensuring technological plant safety (e.g., HAZOP studies)
• Assisting in the preparation of technical specifications and risk assessments
• Preparing customer documentation, such as functional descriptions and operating manuals
• Supporting performance demonstration for plant acceptance

Anforderungen

• Degree (FH or university) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field
• Excellent English skills and willingness to travel internationally
• Experience in agglomeration processes in the steel industry is an advantage (e.g., pelletizing plants, sinter plants, beneficiation plants)
• Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and intercultural competence
• The minimum annual gross salary for this position is €52,000. A significantly higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
