Buyer for production systems and machines

Zuständigkeiten

• Responsibility for the entire purchasing process with regard to enquiry and offer processing, negotiations, orders and contracts for German and English-speaking projects
• Carrying out tenders in cooperation with the specialist department, creating and maintaining global/local supplier portfolios, conducting negotiations and drawing up contracts
• Proactive identification of cost reduction measures, active participation in process optimisation and contribution of ideas
• Processing complaints, conducting renegotiations and coordinating deadlines
• Carrying out procurement market analyses and deriving company-oriented sourcing strategies
• Coordinating and participating in internal company meetings and customer appointments
• Assuming responsibility for the area of responsibility after completing the initial training phase and ongoing support through mentoring

Anforderungen

• Completed technical/commercial training such as FH, TU with economic knowledge
• Sound purchasing experience required, preferably in the procurement of production equipment and machinery
• Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel), SAP an advantage
• Strong communication skills in German and English (business fluent / C1) when working with colleagues, suppliers and customers
• Occasional willingness to travel
