Working as a Lead Document Controller – Suzan Hendriks

My position is Lead Document Controller. I am really satisfied with all aspects of my work through STAR. I have been doing this for years and am very happy with the assignments I get and the services STAR provides. STAR always comes up with a fun and challenging assignment for me.

On new projects, I often start by ensuring that everything is in order, after which I set up document control proper within the organisation. My STAR consultant pops in every now and then to see how things are going and makes sure that we are given the tools we need to do our jobs well.

The wonderful thing about my work is that you get to take a peek into different kitchens and discover new ways of doing things. The best part is the contact I have with team members and contractors. Like when there are problems with the database, or questions about the RFC packages. We pass these questions on to the relevant team member or contractor, depending on the question.
