Project Manager Backbone Applications

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a Project Manager who understands business and IT alignment in the context of a growing organisation. The goal is to align several projects with different (Application, IT/OT) partners and set up and manage interactions with projects managed internally.
• The ideal candidate possess a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies and have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects through completion phases.
• Scope execution, resource planning, and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop project cost estimates.
• Establish project objectives, timelines, and KPIs.
• Align the client teams with vendor teams
• Identify and allocate resources
• Develop and implement detailed execution plans.
• Implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate and manage project teams & contractors.
• Monitor project progress, performance, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead final stages of project delivery, ensuring seamless transition and Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and reporting to all project stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns promptly.
• Control project finances, including budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Approve project expenditures and ensure financial accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management. Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset.
• Proven expertise is architectural design on applications, IT and OT solutions.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
