Senior Process Engineer Relief System Design

Responsibilities

• STAR is currently seeking a senior process engineer to join the relief system revalidation team of our client at their Rotterdam refinery. 
• The position requires presence at a Rotterdam refinery office for at least 3 days per week; the location can only be reached by car.
• Responsibilities:
  • Process engineering calculations to validate the relief system design.
  • Relief scenario assessment.
  • Reporting in the software tool PSPPM.
  • Scope definition in case of deficiencies.
  • Interaction with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proficient in using the software tool PSPPM.
• A very strong background and experience working as a process engineer with engineering contractor companies, including RHU (Residual Hydrocracking Unit).
• Experience with relief system revalidation for refineries.
• Proficient in using process simulation software tools.
